Background
Associated Energy Group (AEG Fuels) is an aviation fuel provider who delivers services to various corporate, commercial, FBO, and government clients. We partnered with AEG Fuels to redesign their existing app.

I first met with the Director of Card Services and Programs to ask questions about the app redesign such as:

Next, I asked the director to walk me through the app and explain its functionality, where I asked questions to fully understand the initial app and all about its current features, such as:

Feature Prioritization
In order to prioritize the several ideas that our team and our stakeholders had for the redesign, we collaboratively ranked each feature on a prioritization matrix.
App Content Sitemap
I worked with the stakeholders in order to create a sitemap that helped clarify the user flow before designing.
Low Fidelity Wireframes
When I first joined this project, a Business Requirements Document was already created. Due to time constraints, my goal was to get straight to wireframing as to help with business decisions and prioritization of requirements in a more visual way.

Aviation Terminology: “Fuel Release”
Definition: A fuel release in aviation terms is where a pilot can request fuel based on the fuel type, estimated gallons, type of aircraft, and location.

Aviation Terminology: FBO
Definition: FBOs (Fixed Based Operator) are aviation services providers who have been granted permission by an airport to operate on its premises and provide aviation services such as fuel, parking, and hangar space, for aircraft, passengers, and crew for private or recreational flying.

Lessons Learned
1. How to prepare for an app redesign by communicating with stakeholders on their initial goals for the redesign.
